Student Purchase Procedures

for Atomic Dog Publishing 

Your instructor has chosen Teall Introduction to Logic:  Evaluating Arguments for your course.  This text is available in print ($45.00) and online only ($24.95) formats.  Access to the online content is included when a new print version is purchased.  Atomic Dog provides two means to obtain your course materials: 

Ordering direct from Atomic Dog Publishing:

1. Go to www.atomicdog.com (You may want to bookmark this site for future access)

2. Click on the “Students-Purchase/Activate Books” link. The "Student’s Guide" screen appears, enter the Course ID for your course. They are listed here.

3. The "Course Registration" screen will prompt and verify your course and instructor. Then click on the “Register” icon.

4. The "Registrar’s Office" screen appears. Enter your personal information.  You will choose your own unique password that you will use to access the online content in the future.

5. On the next screen you have the option to select the online+paperback version or just the online version.  The online version provides web-only access, meaning you will need to be connected to the Internet in order to view the book.  Purchase of a paperback copy includes access to the online version at no additional fee. For the paperback version you will need to choose your preferred shipping method.  A UPS shipping time map is included for your reference.

6. On the next screen the selected title and pricing information will appear. Click on the "Continue to Secure Payment Form" icon.

7. On the Billing & Shipping Information screen fill in your credit card billing and shipping information in the boxes provided. The total will appear at the bottom of the screen, click "Purchase” to submit your order. (If you do not wish to pay by credit card please call 800-310-5661 x 6 or email sales@atomicdog.com) 

8. The credit card transaction will process. Upon approval you will receive an email message indicating your transaction has been processed.  Select the "Continue" icon.  The "My Backpack" screen will appear allowing you to view your personal information, purchase another Atomic Dog title, view your course information and course books, and link to the online content of the text.

9. To access the online content in the future, go to www.atomicdog.com click on “Current Users Login.”  Enter your email address and password.  This will take you to your “Backpack” where you will locate your purchased text(s) with a hot link to the text(s). 

If you have bought your book from the Bookstore and you want online access…

There is a Book Activation Key in the inside cover of all NEW texts. There will also be a short pamphlet explaining how to activate and use the online text.  The online book comes with the purchase of a new paperback book.  You will be asked for a Course ID number.  Please use the following id: 1912020205010 for section 3.
